2021 Pressing Demonstrations
The easing of the COVID restrictions earlier this year were too late to get everything organised for the full Porlock Apple Press & Rural Crafts Festival, sorry.
The good news is that we will still be demonstrating our old Somerset Pattern Press, and the ancillary vintage equipment. You will stiil be able to taste the juice straight off the press, and of course take some awy to enjoy at home.
We will be selling the pure pastuerised juice too, that will keep for well over a year - so ideal if you are visiting and want to take some home.
This will take place on SATURDAY 23rd OCTOBER 2021 between 10.00am and 3.00pm, in the orchard garden of The Old School Centre (Visitor Centre).
Come along an witness the process, and a significant part of the Vale of Porlock history, in terms of its importance to the rural economy in years gone by.
